Setting baud rate for 9210 serial port in OPL

Hi All,

I asked this before, but the mail didn't get through....

Has anyone figured out how to modifiy the baud rate for the 9210 serial port. The default is 9600 & I can get the serial port to work with that, but I'd like to change the baud rate to something higher.

There is a chapter in the Series 5 OPL manual about this. I've tried all of the programming examples there, but with no sucess.

I do know that the application programmer can set up the serial port, since there are some third party apps like NewTelnet that have done it.

Hi!

Thanks for the advice. I'm still a little confused. I've looked at the description of System.opx in the ER5 documents, but there's no explaination or reference to SyRemoteLinkConfig.

Is this a new feature for 9210 OPL?

Yep, just read through the System file. If you've downloaded the develop package from symbian for opl you should find the System.txh in source/pc/system/opx/
