Reading back up files

By restoring the backup to the phone with the same software that was used to make the backup in the first place.

Thing is, i don't want to restore this back up its abit out of date, just wanna view it.

Make a new backup (another backup).

Restore the old backup. Save whatever you need saved from it.

Restore the new backup you made before you restored the old one.

Good idea, before i try that, i'm going to put this backup on to my old phone.
