Anyone managed to get this to work? I've had no luck
Thanks in advance
3230 and iSync
Have you checked/asked Apple's customer support? Do they have a version of iSync that supports phones based on Series 60 2.1 (Series 60 2nd Edition Feature Pack 1) or later?
2.1 devices are the 7610, 6670, 6260 and 3230 (at least).
There are also "Feature Pack 2" (2.6) devices: 6630, 6680 and soon 6681, 6682.
All those after the 6600 have a different, more standard, SyncML over OBEX based of mechanism for synchronization. iSync needs to be adapted to support that & I dont know if it has yet, but you should ask Apple.
I think iSync will include SyncML technology in the next release, which will accompany the Tiger OS update. That should do the trick. I was wondering, though, if anyone had got it working already. My guess is no.

I read recently that it works if you make a bluetooth connection in 'Address book' and then run iSync.
I have got it to work in the past myself but I always back up my Address book, iCal and the calendar and contacts on the phone, cos a couple of times it didn't work and I had to restore this stuff.

Do you know where you read that? I'd like to see some more detailed instructions. Everything I've seen suggests that it won't work until Tiger comes out (16 days), and although everyone is optimistic, no one is quite sure it'll work then.
Thanks
