After looking at as many posts as i could find on various forums (this being my favourite of course!) I went in search for a post with various Firmware revisions, much like the sticky post here. BUT when you look at that thread, it turns into a sea of people asking for firmware revisions, and then a post or two later asking how to implement them.
What I was looking for was what the sticky post aimed: for a list of firmware revisions and their accompanying traits - any known bugs, wether they have bluetooth enabled, wether they have IR enabled. etc
So I will start:
I have motorola A920
Release 21.58.01
BaseBand A925_BP_21.58.00
Flex SE8102AXXW8008
AP SE8102AXXW8_007
This is the Flash revision I got when i sent my A920 to "3" for the bluetooth upgrade. It does have bluetooth, it doesn't have IR, it starts faster than it did on the original release. Its pretty stable. I'm not sure if you can install non 3-locked programs as i have enver tried.
Motorola A1000
Release 51.14.15
......... This is the release it came with from "3" - I have yet to tinker, though i have a generic copy of the firmware (Release 51.82.00) which I haven't tried it yet, despite its promises to unlock the phone to motorola's non-network provider settings. I will let you know when i do (should be next couple of days).
-----------------------
This is hopefully the best way to find the most up to date stable versions of Firmware, so if you could post, it would be appreciated.
----------------------
Instead of asking for the firmware versions, look up google and eMule and the hundred other forums online, look hard and you will find what you're looking for.
Apologies if you all think this is just regurgitating the sticky post, I just thought it could be a cleaner version.
Cheers,
Mitch
