Hello all,
I am thinking of changing from my Psion5mx to a Nokia 9500 or 9300 and I have a few questions, as I am hoping that the Nokia will allow me to ditch my laptop for presentations with a data projector.
1) Is it possible to capture a screen in any program and save it as an image file.
2) can these image files be sent via bluetooth to a Nokia Image Viewer SU-2 connected to a data projector?
Many thanks,
Martin
Nokia Image Viewer SU-2 supports JPEG, up to VGA (640 x 480 pixels).
There is an application called "ZScreen Capture" from ZenithCore. It is freeware and let's you choose the format, which are MBM, JGP, GIF, BMP or PNG.
Alternatively press Shift+Ctrl+Chr+S and you will be able to capture the screen as BMP file, which does not help for the Nokia Image Viewer.
Blimey!! it works!!!
How the Heck do you people find these things out? It's not mentioned in the manual how to screen grab.....
Are they any IN-Depth manuals available for the 9500 that really go into depth properly on how to do ALL the things in ALL the apps properly??
cheers

Try the "General shortcuts" section in the 9500 User's Guide. It *DOES* have a line that reads:
Shift+Ctrl+Chr+S Screenshot
At least the version of the UG that can be downloaded from http://www.nokia.com/phones/9500 mentions this.
Many thanks for the info. One more tick mark for the N9500 purchase.
