Keyboard Face-off: T.O. Bluetooth Vs Sendo

Ok. I've got enough money to get either but which one? Which one has the better build quality? Also, I own a Palm PDA that uses Bluetooth but I think I've found a solution to my word processing problems on the Sendo. Ahh decisions, decisions...

is there a problem with connecting a bluetooth keyboard to the X? would that require special drivers for the sendo? i assumed bluetooth by itself was some sort of universal standard (like usb), or what now? i confused myself...

No, I can use either phone. To clear up any confusion, one advantage the Bluetooth Keyboard would have is the ability to use it on my PDA as well as my phone, but the Sendo's Keyboard appears to have a better build quality. As I said, I may have a solution to my Quickoffice problem which would mean I wouldn't be dependant on my PDA for documents.

So purely for typing on a Sendo, which is better:- the Think Outside Stowaway Keyboard or Sendo's own?

i would go for the bluetooth one as those keyboards aren't cheap and i assume you wouldn't want to buy another one for your pda. i just checked the thinkoutside website, and the sendo x isn't on the list of compatible devices. they DO seem to require drivers to work on smartphones, though. maybe there's a different manufacturer that supports the X, otherwise try contacting thinkoutside.com support for the X.
good luck

I haven't tried the bluetooth one, so I can't give you any opinions on that, however, I can confirm that the build quality of the Sendo keyboard is top notch. The only problem you'll have with it is that it's not compatible with anything other than the Sendo X (because of the interface) and unfortunately isn't compatible with the X2.

That's the one I was looking at, but it looks a little flimsy...Also, I'm not sure about driver compatibility, and I don't fancy paying 90.00 to be a beta tester...

The brando bluetooth keyboard: review and link. Thats the one I'm considering right now. (I got my Zaurus from Brando, and later a decent collection of Brando-branded accessories and they have all been great.)

Funny, somehow that feeling is familiar to me!!!!

I decided - I'm going with the Sendo one as it looks a lot more sturdy than the Bluetooth one. Additionly I know it will be compatible with my X. If anyone would like me to do a review of the Keyboard, I'd be more than happy to...
