No more Firmware?

Hi all!!

I�m just wondering if there will be coming out a new firmware anytime soon �cause i�m still experiencing problems with mp3 and taking calls... I guess that�s my maine issue.

Oh yea, when i�m talking on the phone anyone who tries to call me gets a message that the phone is off!!!

Anyone have a take on that?

I like the phone even though it�s not perfect, but to me it comes quite close...

1. I remember reading in another thread (can't be bothered to find it) that Sendo will definately release another firmware at least.
2. Sounds like a reception problem where the phone is not carrying out a periodic update on the network. Try removing SIM, cleaning it, reinsert the SIM and power on. Alternatively, send it to a service centre for inspection and repair in-case there is a hardware problem.

Nice to hear that it is still hope for us with the "old" sendo...

Would be nice to hear something from someone in charge about when it would eventually come out!

Well anyway, I heard that the problem that i described with the phone giving a message that the phone is off while im talking on the phone, is apperantly some settings with the operater (Comviq Kontant). So hopefully that will be resolved soon!

try to cancel your busy divert on your phone by typing ##67#SEND. Then try to set it up again by typing **67*(YOUR DIVERT NUMBER HERE)#SEND. Send is your green phone/place call button. This may fix your prob. 😊

There will DEFINITELY be more firmwares for the X. As far as I know, there are no current plans at Sendo to stop developing X firmwares.

The next version is being delayed slightly due to testing and other work on the X2, but it's definitely coming. (I don't know any actual dates though, unfortunately)

I remember plinkykev PM'ing me about this when I asked about support for something. He also hinted at some new software that was going up on the Sendo website.

I think the new software will be released along with the firmware.

Yes, you will need new themes, the current ones are incompatible with the new firmware. Sendo have re-written theirs and will be releasing them with the firmware I believe.

Probably not *every* bug, but I know a lot are fixed in this next release.

The thing with bugs and software in general, is that someone will always find one more bug which no-one else has spotted.

Month is minimum due to heavy testing & further bug fixing. Some major bugs have been fixed so far
