RSMMC & Nokia 3230

I have just bought a new RSMMC for my nokia 3230, which i was told would be compatible, but now i have put the card into my phone and tried to format it and nothing is happen, its just staying on the same screen.

Can someone advise me on what to do.

Yeah !!! Samething happened to me, all you have to do is format it by card reader in Fat (don't use Fat32), That's it

Strange. Since it has been formatted in the same phone it should work and should be compatible... 😮

I too had the same problem. Is it because 3230 does not support cards greater than 128 MB. I put in a DV RS MMC 128MB and there is no problem. On putting a RS MMC 512MB the size of the card is read ok, but phone freezes on formatting even if the card is formatted on PC
