6680 ProfiMail Problem

I am able to recieve but not sent email. I have found out the problem is my incoming mail requires the security port to be set to 995 and the outgoing mail needs security ports in off made so I have to change it each time I want to send or recieve mail.

I would be interested to hear from anyone who is using an email program other than the one provided by nokia to see if the incoming and outgoing setting can be set independently on other programs such a profimail.

Profimail, does not work at present with the 6680, Lonely Cat are working on it and will have a version working for the 6680 soon.

Hopefully it won't be long, I miss it already

"Profi"mail also not works over USB-Cable to connect to an internal Mailserver.

Hope Lonley Cat hurries to get it working with the 6680.
I am in desperate need for it. Nokia should license this great program and have it installed on all Symbian phones.

ProfiMail Version 2.24 is available for download and it's compatible with the 6680 now!

And i can sync mails per USB Cable ?

I'm not sure how you want to sync mails. If you mean to sync like you can do with Outlook and a PocketPC using Mircosoft's ActiveSync, ProfiMail can't.
However it is one of the best Email clients I found for a handheld device.
It is like a little Outlook for your Nokia.
Using ProfiMail nobody needs a Blackberry and under 3G it rocks even more.

I want synch without a UMTS, GSM, GPRS, EDGE Connection. I will connect via USB cable to my Server like other tools like WorldMate can download via USB Weather-Data from the Internet.

I must not pay some money for a GPRS-Connection an safe some time by sync via USB instead of the slow gprs speed.

But ProfiMail can�t do this.

Help! I have a 6680 and the new version of profimail. It works fine for some accounts but I can't figure out how to send with a Gmail account. It will take in the mail but gives me various errors depending on what settings I use when I try to send.

I'm thinking the smtp port is wrong. 25 isn't what gmail uses. Anyone know?

ProfiMail new version problem with 6260. App close when create new acc.
On ly two vesion 1.02 and 1.04 can run fine on 6260. But not automatic import email adresses from phonebook.

Any one can install and run fine ProfiMail on 6260 ?

Is there anyway to sync profimail with microsoft outlook? I actually just want to be able to sync my SENT MAIL folder on profimail and be able to transfer it to my outlook on my pc.

If not, is there an email program out there for my nokia 6680 that can do this??????
