real player plays only til 2:10s ??

i converted some avi videos to 3gp using the nokia multimedia player...however, the vids will only play til exactly 2mins and 10sec. after that, the player simply freezes up.

is there a good alternative to real player?

If you have an older Nokia Multimedia Player, then it is a problem with it. Fixed in the version part of newer Nokia PC Suite releases (it was fixed in 6.2.something, and now PC Suite is at 6.5; unless you are using 6.5 and the problem has reappeared).

downloaded my multimedia player from the nokia website but i wasnt consciouse of the version. will do another search...

i just did a double-check, MMplayer is not included in the pc suite v6.5 download.

btw, what is the latest version of MMPlayer?
