Scroll Key not precise enough?

I am surprised that that I have not seen any comments on the scroll key on the phone side. When I try to press the CENTER, to select a function, I usually open the camera instead.

I have found a Communicator Forum in Switzerland that has the perfect solution. Following their advice I have now placed a small washer (0.7 mm thick) onto the keypad, inside the front cover, and now my 9500 is close to perfection!

Follow this link: http://www.aikon.ch/serie80/index.htm. Then select "FAQ & Tipps". Scroll down to "9500 Fnf-Wege-Taste am Telefonteil". The text is in German but there are plenty of photos that will show you how to fix this.

Good luck!

I've had this problem too, it's very frustrating - glad the washer works, do the other shortcuts still work (when you press up, does it activate the camera just as easily as without the washer)?

Yes, everything works. And it works the way you would expect it to. Amazingly simple and effective solution, that's why I posted it here.
