Bluetooth Headset Question for Nokia 6600

Newbie Question.
Would like to know if anyone has tried any bluetooth headsets for the nokia 6600.
Or does anyone know any bluetooth headsets that work well with the 6600.
Would like to be able to voice dial. ie say the number and it will dial it. My bluetooth headset is currently a cardo scala and it does not do the dialing feature it can dial via voice tags only.l
Thanks

BT headsets are a matter of preference really, what feels comfortable and what you feel acceptable wearing, alot of people seem to go for the Jabra 250 or even a Motorola HS, apparently Nokia are the only ones to connect in the proper way to promote longer battery life on the phone (that was said by a BT knowledgable person on these forums) but no one seems to complain otherwise.
As for what you are asking it to do, that is upto the phone and the 6600 does not natively voice dial with numbers, only stored voice tags and commands as stated in your user manual, so it is not the headset that will solve this problem all it does is open your phones voice recognition system to do what ever the phone can do.
I do believe that I have heard of a third party piece of software that can be bought for your phone that will allow voice number dialing but I can not remember the name, try browsing the handango shop, that should allow your headset to do what you want, or buy a phone that has that feature built in.

BT headsets are a matter of preference and experience. I do not know of any BT headsets that will let you "dial-by-number" though many will let you call via voice tag. It may well have to do with the way the phone and headset "pair" when you initiate a call.

My biggest learning with BT headsets is that the audio is very dependent on the environment. I have used a Jabra BT250, SonyEricsson HBH-600 and am now using a Jabra BT800 simply because it delivers the best sound to the party at the other end of the conversation when I am driving at speed. The BT250 is the most comfortable headset in the world and the ergonomics of the buttons are perfect, but it has far too much background noise - especially when I step out of the car.

The HBH-600 was pretty good. Comfortable, easy to use, decent sound.

The BT 800 delivers the best audio. I use it because I know that the person I am speaking with will hear what I say without straining over background noise. It doesn't fit me as well as the other two - so you always have a trade-off.

Good luck.

Cheers,

Richard.
