Modem drivers (usb) for 9300

Hi,

I've tried installing PC suite on my computer, it does not want to be installed. Everything goes fine and when it finishes, it just says that The installation could not be finished. Nothing has been changed. No other failure notices.

I contacted Club Nokia, they blamed Microsoft.

I would rather not reinstall my Windows, I actually only want to use my 9300 as a modem when I connect my laptop to internet. I want to use the USB cable to do it.

However, on Nokia pages there are only drivers for bluetooth (no, my computer does not have it) or infrared (no, I don't want to use it), and USB drivers are inside PC suite (which I can't install).

So, I have to questions:
a) how to fix the PC suite installation problem?
b) where to get the .inf file for N9300 USB modem drivers?

Thanks in advance.

Have you downloaded the latest pc suite, 6.5? I heard they fixed the problem with the usb modem driver. Maybe that will install properly...

Yes, that was my first thing to do. And actually, my computer doesn't even install Nokia Cable modems. It appears that something in my Windows detests Nokia applications. 😉

Anyway, I found an USB Bluetooth chip and I managed to connect through that to Internet, so the biggest problem is solved. Would be of course very fun to have the PC Suite installed on my computer, so I can sync calendar etc. But that is not mandatory.
