Decuma Handwriting recognition for the A1000 - PLEASE HELP

0 replies · 2,305 views · Started 20 April 2005

Here's a couple of extracts from emails I have received from customer support at Decuma:

"According to my records, you have not received a reply to your email, and for the delay I do apologize. Unfortunately, our Decuma products are only supported on the Sony Ericsson P800, P900 and P910 for the UIQ platform. I have heard from Motorola A1000 users that our software will not function, so I dont have a suggestion for you. There is no plan to release a version for the Motorola A1000."

"The very least I can do is pass along your comments. At this point, the
company has set the direction of the product away from a download
solution and towards a built-in one. With enough voices they might
decide to support both. If you are aware of any online forums, chat
rooms, blogs, etc that discuss this, I would be happy to bring it to the
attention of the management.

Best regards,

You can see from this that decuma may be prepared to consider an A1000 version of their software (which is really very good) if there is a demand. If you would like to help convince them, please send a mail to:
