I would like to learn here if the bad experience I had with Handango is unique or not.
First when purchasing Yedit, then again when purchasing Mobile Media Maker, I had problems in having my product running.
With Yedit, the problem was the incredibly complicated registration procedure, an SMS-based system that just doesn't work at all. Finally the software developer fixed my problem in giving me a registration key to be entered manually.
With MMM, the problem is 1) the download server, which disconnects frequently and allows a very limited number of trials, 2) Handango's "Previous Orders" page, which systematically says "No matching order" when entering correct email address and order reference number.
Handango sucks, i have purchased some software for nokia and got never the software ... after 20 emails they told me *ehm sorry , but we cant send sms to eurpe, please contact the developer* !!! .. same happend as i try to buy something for my motorola v3 😞
i wil never buy again someting from Handango ...
I bought, or should I say paid? Outliner from Handago, never got reg key, basically they said contact developer for it when I emailed them. They never bothered either so wrote back to Handago and had no reply, then they emailed me asking how I found their support. After trading a few emails back and forth I just gave up with them and let them keep my money. This is just one of a few problems I have had with them.
It's what happens when you have a monopoly I suppose.
