Dumb GPRS problem

Hi y'all,

Ive been trying to connect to GPRS for a while on and off now with no joy whatsoever. now i figure im just being dumb and missing summat totally obvious.

Used to use it no probs at all on my trusty old n gage !

Ive tried settings already held on the device, had them sent to me via nokia and via my network (O2 in UK) (PAYG)

My big concern is my 9500 is a refurbished model, im just hoping it isnt faulty !

Can someone gimme an idiots guide for connecting to GPRS ? pretty please ?

seems the problem was i wasnt getting the option to connect with anything ?!?!?!

a quick reboot seems to have temporarily sorted it. least it would if i could access it now 😡

I had the same problem, but due prior experience with other nokia's I knew what to do - you need to change your port number in the settings from 9201 to 8080 (do the same for your MMS settings too)
