Another Bluetooth question

I can make a connection to the 7650 through bluetooth when I innitiate a connection from my desktop pc for instance to surf the internet through DSL, that works fine.

But when I am downstairs in the living room and want to use bluetooth to surf the internet or check mail through DSL and there is no bluetooth connection to the pc, I switch on bluetooth on my Nokia to connect over bluetooth I cannot get the Nokia to innitiate a bluetooth connection although bluetooth is available and the Nokia is in range.

I then first have to go upstairs to my desktop pc, innitiate a connection from my desktop pc and then it works again but I don't want that, I want to stay downstairs, switch on bluetooth on the Nokia and automatically get a connection to my desktop pc.

I thought that's what Bluetooth is all about ???????

Can someone help or is this normal, did Nokia "forget" to put in some protocol in the phone like with audio ?? the designer(s) should be fired then or do they put this all in the 7650i, that sucks !!!!

Hmm. I can answer for the BT audio profile.

It written very clearly in the Manual of 7650 that it (the phone) does not support BT audio for BT headsets.

😉

😮 Did i get this clear? Sorry? You mean u are using the dsl on ur pc to surf the web on 7650?? That sounds interesting ( if i have'nt gotten in wrong). Can you kindly tell us how to do it? ( we've (atleast most of us) had been aware of using 7650 as modem for the pc/notebook, not the otherway around. This is interesting!)

Can u kindly detail us?

Regards
