HexEditors can do that easy

HexEditors cannot "do that easy". With such a tool you can do it in a very hard and laborious way.

And depending on how text is stored in the app there may be no way to do it completely,

It is also impossible to do for built-in ROM (Read-Only Memory) software (on the Z-drive).

Doing it for .sis files is also difficult, because the files may be compressed & encrypted.

For apps, an easier way is to contact the developer and ask for a different language version, or offert to help to translate the app for them.

If you want to change the whole phone language to one for which there is no built-in support, you could try taking it to a Nokia authorized service center and ask them to put a firmware package that includes the language you want on the phone.

hex editors do that EASY! and I am sure.

With a hex editor it is easy to edit bytes in any file, but to know what those bytes represent is not easy (especially if you have a file with compressed/encrypted stuff; there is no way to see what a byte really means - whether it is executable code a whole string or just a fragment of one or whatever). For an "FBI member" you seem to be a slightly uninformed investigator, jojo. 😉

so if anyone is interested of editing SIS files or creating i can
answer via PM. its really easy. u just open a file with a simple
hex editor and u type the string you want.

by the way, dont comfuse ppl with "compressed/encrypted stuff"
while in a forum like this we try to help ppl, than to comfuse them.
can u post an encrypted SIS file which is not able to de-encrypt it in some minutes?

my phone can do it using the installation program
and Im sure that also yours can do it in 30 seconds.
you can find the "compressed/encrypted BLA BLA stuff"
in your phone as easy as hell

by the way, we talk about language packs.
not h3cking apps, like some people do
and they need another program to "translate" all those strings
that u mention. a language file is like a TEXT file in your phone.

Honestly its a lot less hassle to contact the author of the program and offer to do a translation.

Using a Hex Editor is a bit hit and miss as N/A quite correctly points out. It is also strictly speaking (in most cases) illegal. It should therefore not be discussed here.

jojo - please try to use full English sentences. There are a lot of non native English speakers on this board and using netspeak makes thing more difficult to understand.

I used to use Magix if thats what you mean. Its fairly cheap and I used it for a while before I got vegas. Magix movie edit pro 12 is what I had well still have but dont use anymore.
