I got my my sendo x a couple of weeks ago and ive been tryin to get some good stuff on it only problem is i don't know any or most of the don't work.
Can someone please tell me some good games that work on the sendo x (not all the games, just the good ones plz), i've got agile fighter, snowboard x and prince of persia 2 at the mo which i like.
Also i upgraded my phone (I think!) but how do i know i got the latest firmware because my phone seems the same?
Also i read the thread about working appz/games and ive tried to put some of them on but for some reason they dont work like "app closed" etc. And how do i put java games on . they dont work, it says on sendo pc connect "corrupt or unreadable"
If anyone can help me i'd be really thankful 😊
There probably wasn't a new firmware to upgrade to; but to see what version you have go to menu/extras/about and then click right twice to get to the `system` tab, the first line is the firmware version. I think the latest is X1.98.5.2.
I don't know much in regards to games but you can get a few free from the nokia website although they're designed for nokias of course but generally they work okay, like space impact.
Recommended useful free programs are FExplorer (a file explorer) and Switcher (a task manager). If you like to listen to music on your mobile, I recommend OggPlayer (also free), although it means converting your mp3s into ogg format.
I haven't tried a Java app myself yet - but in the tools section of the menu, under Java - if you press right it goes to a window called downloaded apps. These need to be installed first before running them. some good non-java games include pretty much anything by MGS and Skyforce. I'm something of a newbie myself, so if I find any other interesting tidbits, I'll let you know.

There's also a good Gameboy emulator around as well - its called GoBoy or something like that.
While I think of it, check your firmware under "Extras" -> "About". If you only got your phone a short while ago, the firmware will probably need updating. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD - MAKE SURE YOUR PHONE IS FULLY CHARGED BEFORE UPDATING.

I am surprised by this comment. All of the games / apps I have listed work really well on my X (and X2 😊 ). You need to make sure you get the right version (eg: S60, not UIQ - P800/P900), etc, and remember to close them after use, to free up the RAM. (eg: Press and hold the menu key to show currently running programs). Also, try them after powering the handset off / on - that should definitely work.
