Hi,
I 'm trying to connect 9300 on my laptop. The software cd(PC Suite 6.4) which came with the phone says... "Microsoft Visual c++ Error, Abnormal Programe Termination". Then i downloaded PC Suite 6.5 from Nokia's site. After installing it detects the phone in system properties.
But when i run "Nokia PC Suite" it says "There is no available connection type and therefore connection to phone cannot be established. The wizard will exit". the next msg is, "Failed to detect available connection types! Please reinstall Nokia PC Suite".
When i click "Nokia Connection Manager", it says, "Cannot use the module. Please reinstall Nokia PC Suite (Code: ListMediaModules)".
NOW what i m suppose to do. I tried reinstalling thousand times but still doesnt work. Anybody can suggest anything.
Thanks in advance.

Maybe try installing the usb software off the CD first instead of the PC suite then restart then once the phone is recognized. Try installing pc suite 6.5 again just an idea....
I put this already in a couple of threads, but might be good to say the same thing here:
There's now an April 28th update of PC Suite 6.5 (original was 6.5.10, now 6.5.12) on http://www.nokia.com/pcsuite
It works on my PC, at least.

Maybe the PC Suite USBmodule has not registered ? (I don't have this type of problems with PC Suite, but saw this to help when someone had problems with infrared not working.
So my assumtion is that for some reason, in your PC, the USb does not register. (I wonder do you have a lot of stuff relating to connectivity installed, upand running...)
The file is NCLUSBMM.dll from C:\Program Files\Common Files\PCSuite\Transports.
To register the file do the following:
1. Go to Start and type run
2. Type CMD or Command and select OK
3. You should now have a black box or screen with the C:\ prompt.
4. Type the following command:
cd\Program Files\Common Files\PCSuite\Transports
You screen should now look like this:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\PCSuite\Transports
Type: regsvr32 NCLUSBMM.dll and press enter.
You should get a windows box telling you that the file has now been registered.
When done shut down the Black DOS box and reboot the PC. USB should now be selectable in Nokia Connection Manager
Your call, if you like to try that fix.
