I Got My Nokia 6680 on Monday and it was simply a Good Experience as I swap from 7710 to 6680 and previously using 7610.
I am simply Lover of Nokia Series 60 and I found it better the 7710 although both phone are from difference Class.
Still some Goodthings happen it 7710 and some in 6680.
One Advantage 6680 Get that it is my Fav Class i.e. Series 60.
I currently not have and not even use Nokia 6630 as My Default Phone as Touch Screen Attract me.
But when I will Compare It with Series 60 and as Well as with Nokia 7710.
I got the Phone Few Hours before now just I am using it.
And If i Compare Sound Output
I found the Much Better then 6630 but not at all better then 7710.
I am Just Testing all the features and come with a review soon.
This image was made by 6680 and i reduce it to 1 megaixel bcoz AAS was not Getting the Big Files.

And i Found it Better I think You have read whole the post
and i was talking abt the sound Output.
i have both the 6630 and the 6680...tho..i gota say..i didn't buy the 6680...i have it on loan..and boy..i wouldn't buy it over the 6630...nearly everything is the same..despite what vicky says, the sound output is no different at all...i dislike the look of it...its so ugly...think i'll keep my trusty 6630...ive got a 6680 on order..as soon as i get it it is going straight on ebay...this was my sole intention originally...make a bit of money, and keep the sim for personal use...

well I suppose its down to personal preference, but I think my 6680 is a great improvement over the 6630
Appears more stable, no rebooting, not crashed once in the three weeks I have had mine.
The built in Day view is fantastic, shows your appointments/memos for the day, if you have no appointments that day then it shows the next appointment you have.
It also allows you to set five shortcuts to both the factory installed or third party applications, and shows how many todo you have
Reminds me a bit of the early version of HandyDay on the P800/900 before they over complicated it.
The whole menu system is faster than the 6630 (regardless what any java bench mark test may say, I have used tham side by side), and the two cameras is great, especially if like me you take advantage of 3G and video calling, means I can wander around on the phone again, instead of being tied to my desk and the video calling stand !!
I personally think it is a better looking phone than the 6630, although the back camera cover does squeak a bit when you hold the phone tight.
Only thing I have against it is that at present Profimail doesn't work with it, but LonelyCat are working on that and will release an updated version of Profimail soon.

totally disagree...the hardware is exactly the same...having given both phones a good going over...regarding the rebooting issue..thats down to software...the 6680 i used has rebooted itself once...the menu system is no faster than the 6630's at all...video calling is, in my opinion, a total gimmick...yeah, its great the first time ya use it...but after that...it gets old real quick...i do, however, like the camera protecting slide at the back..thats great...i think if you own the 6630 there is absolutely NO point in getting the 6680...it's damn ugly, in my opinion...and apart from the cosmetics...its exactly the same phone...only the real "hardcore" more money than sense people will upgrade, n i use that word real loosely, to the 6680...
[QUOTE=Jj03]totally disagree...the hardware is exactly the same...
If hardware same then where did extra 198,608 colours come from on display. This is surely a hardware upgrade and if so then maybe other hardware changes have been included that don't effect the specifications.
Has anyone opened these phones up to see if they are just same phone in different shell?
Hi,
I've just recieved a 6680 on the 3 network and am having a problem with the short cut function.
According to the manual I can move my most used functions i.e.Bluetooth,Profiles,Gallery....to the GO TO folder and then assign one of the left or right keys to this.So that every time I press the nominated key a drop down list will open up.Just like in the Nokia 6230,
No matter what I try I cannot move anything apart from images to the GOTO folder.Am I doing something wrong or the operating system does not allow this?
I can assign individual functions to a nominated key but not a whole list.
Any one with any ideas?
Thanks.

Nokia 6630 is probably one of the ugliest phones nokia ever released, I prefer the 6680 just for the design, that is reason enough!

oh yeah and the 6680 is beautifull...oh yeah,, a big ugly ass brick...looks like any other brick phone..and lets not talk about the keys on the phone...prob dial a number and you reboot the phone by mistake...if you know what i mean...the 6630 is a classic looking phone..it stand out...amd then the 262k color screen is useless....and its slower phone then the 6630....what an upgrade.....the N90 is a good upgrade...
hi... i have a new nokia 6680. I noticed that it has a flu... it automatically deletes all of my messages when it hangs... any info regarding this would surely be very much appreciated... Thanks!!
