OK - have had my X now for about 12 hours and I can't help but compare it to the 6600 it is replacing... is it just me or is the screen on the X horribley dim? Perhaps I have purchased a dud phone, but my screen on "ultra-bright" or whatever is no where near as bright and sharp as my 6600? Thoughts? Thanks.

On every X and 6600 I have seen, the X screen should be a LOT brighter than the 6600. Especially when set on Ultra Bright.
then i must have a dud - ebay purchase so i am at the mercy of Sendo then?

can you post some photos to compare mine to? also, the center "row" of numbers (2580) is not illuminated as well (if at all) compared to the other two. normal? thanks.

The keypad isn't particularly bright on mine, but the screen is almost bright enough to use as a torch. Just out of curiosity - who did you buy from on eBay? I got mine on eBay as well from a guy called LizardSkin/spankmybishop....

not a volume seller for sure. he actually purchased direct from the UK then re-sold it after he finally got it. according to the seller, it was delayed three weeks in shipment and in the interim he got another phone so sold this one. i will get the user name when i get home. interesting that all say my screen should be blinding... does not make me feel good 😞
any sendo reps out there have advice as far as repair/service goes? no idea what the warranty is on these things. thanks

No...mine was from a bulk seller. I can't comment on the 6600 (is it like the 4400 except it hasn't been abducted by aliens.. 😃 ) - how do you adjust the screen brightness on the X? I'll check mine and let you know if there's a big difference...
i believe it is under the profiles where you define the backlight intensity
Brightness is indeed in Profiles.
And, if you think the X is bright, wait till you see the X2!
