IP Passthrough - Has anyone got the BL**DY thing to work!!??

😡

Thought I'd start a new thread, as the other IP one is 5 pages of nothing.

Even after installing the latest 'release' from Nokia posted the other day.
Still BUGGER ALL Happens! ----

PC suite gets overidden as expected (phone setup option) & disconnects on the PC.

The letters IP appear top left of the phone screen.

The Browser says 'connected' at the top.....

Then it just sits there doing sweet FA, until a message appears on the phone screen:
"Internet: Could not find the specified Internet server"

All the while the actual PC is connected to the web & can browse fully etc....

Sorry, but utter CRAP!

If ANYONE has managed to get this 'turd of a feature' to work, please enlighten us all with your wisdom.

Thank god for Wifi!

Hi,

I've had a similar experiance. Tried to manually enter DNS and proxy IPs to no avail. As you said, it says connected but nothing happens. I gave up on it unless someone has any idea.

it worked fine with me,
but i have to use an ISP that does not require proxy authentication as the web browser does not support such thing.

Im trying to find a solution (a proxy authentication supporting web browser) but no luck.
