Tiger, isync and Nokia 6670

With much excitement I had my 6670 sync with my mac running 10.4 (Tiger) only to find out it is far from working.

Initialy the isync assistant installs a small program called isync on my phone, this program is suppose (after being run the first time) start running automatically after the phone restart and it does not.

When run manually, I was able to syncronize the data bases once and have been having a problem since.

If I set isync to contacts only, I seem to complete the process. If I include the calanders then the synchronization fails miserably with 'lost conctact with your phone' error, the isync program on the phone quits in an error and no tranfer accures.

I have tried to re-initialize and reinstall the device without help, I completely erased my calander file on the 6670 (using fileman) but that did not seem to improve things.

The log looks like this:

I wonder if anyone else has those experiences or found a way to make it work.

Thanks --Ami

Installed the iSync Config program on phone.
Mac connects to phone and begins sync.
Sync crashes.

According to various forum discussions at Apple.com this may be due to too much data being transferred at once. So I turn off calendar syncing, and eventually still get the crash. So I begin syncing one small group of Address Book Contacts at a time.--Works for a couple of groups and then I get the crash.

The crash is made up of iSync exclaiming "The connection was lost while sending some changes to the device" and "Device Nokia synchronization failed." After this, the phone and computer are no longer able to communicate until the phone is restarted. 😞

I haven't found a solution, yet, but someone, please post something as soon as you hear it!
