Hi all,
I have written an Symbian C++ program. Anyone know is there anyway that my program can force the phone to restart ? Also, is there anything like autoexec.bat that my program can automatically be start when the phone start.
Need to ask this is because my program run into problem when it run for a long time (do not know is it because of non release resources), thus I am hoping that I can force the phone to restart (back to its init ok state) and automatically start my program again.
Thanks.
BR,
xx
I'm wander if this is the file you are looking for.
C:\system\bootdata\FirstData.dat
This file originally take up 0 byte. I'm not sure that this file equivalent to autoexec.bat or not. 😮 😮 😮
I tried to play with this file with no success! However, I just thought of an idea but cannot do this beacasue my phone is at the NSC! There is a program which you can actually make run at startup! I THINK its Active Desk! Make it run when the phone starts, and then look at the FirstBoot file if something changed! The rest I think you can figure out yourself 😊
