Jabra BT800 & vibrate, etc.

I know it's been said before, (which is why I bought the thing) but the Jabra BT800 solution for the lack of vibrate on the 9300 works great!
I just received it today and am very pleased. The caller ID feature is cool too.
Anyway, I wanted to share my excitement a bit and also give a new opp for anyone else to post any relavant thoughts.
😊

I don't really get the point of a vibrating headset. I mean since the phone is connected to the headset, you can just have a beep once type of ringtone and you hear you have a call. There's no need to set a silent profile since all sound will be redirected to the headset. The only issue perhaps would be the meeting alarms which are played through the headset AND through the phone's speaker at the same time which is a bad idea on Nokia's part imho.

Anyway, could you help me understand why you find it so useful? There must be something I'm missing here.

Well, in most places you are assumed to be some Star Trek fan if you wear your headset all the time 🙄

Point taken, hadn't thought about this kind of situation.

Thanks Huib.

hmm, at this point it's been ringing on both my phone and the headset. but I see... If I put it on meeting, then it beeps once and vibrates. If I put it on silent, it just vibrates. I suppose it's good in case I miss that single beep whilst it is on "meeting"
since the headset keeps on vibrating.

I have bought Jabra BT800, too. I have the 9500 and I had setup my voicemail when I can't respond but the phone is on.
If someone call me and I have the jabra off... if I put on it when I received a call, the call go on voicemail without I can respond with my jabra... it's boring! Is it a problem also happens you?

regards,

stefer
