pay as you go 6630

Hi

1. Is anyone else using o2 pay as you go to access the internet on the 6630?

IF so, do you have any problems accessing secure websites? O2 won't give me the mobile web settings i need for the phone so I can only connect using GPRS and not their internet connection. Therefore I have bought Opera and can not use it without an internet connection point.

Is there anyway around this problem?

2. Do the other network providers (vodafone, orange etc) on pay as you go restrict access as well?

Thanks peeps

im using my 6630 on payandgo and i don't have any problems using o2...even accessing secure sites...

Hey,

I have exactly the same problem, I am using a Pay-&-Go Genie sim with 300 texts a month.

Originally I was on a tarif & so used a mobile internet connection to check my emails etc. & surf the web, but after two phone calls to O2 tech support I found out "Mobile Web" isn't available for pay-&-Go.

Why the hell not I do not know, as if we pay for it when we use it then it's all money in their pocket. But alas it isn't available.
