Hi,
i transferred 2 or 3 sound clips (*.ram) from my pc to my nokia9300, but when trying to play them , the Realplayer on 9300 starts and shows the duartaion for the file but keeps 'loading..' even for short files (< 2 minutes) for over 5 minutes and never plays the clip. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
thanks in advance..

Hi, welcome to the forum.
Hmm, .RAM files? My guess is that either Realplayer doesn't support that file type, or the resolution you've used is too large for the 9300 to handle.
If you want to play back vids I'd strongly suggest a third party app for that purpose as Realplayer isn't very good. Check out either the Mobile Media Maker or SmartMovie.
Oops, just realised you were talking about sound clips, not video clips. But again, I don't think Realplayer supports .RAM files. According to Nokia the supported audio formats are: MP3, MPEG-4 (AAC), Real Audio, and MIDI.
Raven,
Thank you for your reply. For that matter, any idea about a *free* program that can convert RAM to MP3.

if u've done it then great, still i couldn't understand the final part of your reply, can you elaborate on " clik option and change the u'll see the format as Ram, delete ( a ) and keep it as Rm only ". thanks

I think he means change the file format of the song. Like go to File Manager where you saved the song, and then highlight it, and then Press Ctrl+R and then it should have a name like Song_name.ram remove the (a) on ram which leaves you with Song_name.rm
The way that works for me is converting the video or audio files to the format supported on the Nokia 9500/9300 by converting with Realproducer. It will produce .rm files which play correctly on the 9500/9300
