Is anyone else with a 6630 on vodafone who can't send an sms when in a 3G area!!
When the 3G signal is shown I get a "General Operation Timeout" error!
If the signal is regular 2/2.5G its seems to send fine.
I've seen the send by "GSM/Packet Data" option in SMS settings but that doesn't seem to help!!

I have had this problem on both my 6630 and 6680, it is an ongoing problem with the vodafone 3G network.
What I do if a SMS doesn't send is ring my home phone number then cancel without answering (or just call your voicemail) then resend the SMS, it will send perfectly.
Sometimes you will get an SMS from someone straight after you have done this, because if you can't send you can't recieve either.
In simple terms I believe the 3G network appears to forget you, when you make a call the network knows you are there and sends you your SMS's and lets you send them....its a pain in the arse, but I am told they are working on it.
