If you search for posts that have all the words "POP3", "IMAP4", "SMTP", "WAP", "GPRS", "internet", "access" and "point" you should find at least a few posts where it has been explained in more or less detailed fashion (you can also add me to the author field to get better hits, since I know I've explained this several times): http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/forum/search.php?

Note: Hotmail doesn't support Internet protocols (POP3/IMAP4 and SMTP) for email access, so it won't work.

Niether will gmail because it requires ssl authentication and the 6600 dosen't support it however you can accsess gmail using profimail...

or if you go to http://www.o2.co.uk/register_pop.html and sign up for a free account you will get 20 meg of space and you can accsess this using your phone.... after you do this if you require the sttings then let me know and i'll give you them...
