4 Digit Code on Standby Screen

What is the 4 digit code that appears in the top right corner of the standby image? It doesn't seem to relate to anything.

That's the "Cell info" which you can switch on or off in the phone settings menu.

Don't know what your network uses it for but in the UK on Vodafone they use it to display the area code, e.g. 0161 if you're in Manchester or 0207 for London City etc.

lol well were technologically advanced here in AUS
no area codes for us
it just tells us the name of the place where we are.

I find that pretty useful 😊
