Hi, I'm new in this forum, also bought a new Nokia 3230.

Well, I listed out some problems I found and hope to get some solutions (i.e. software/settings etc.)

1. Slow response of the camera shutter. Picture token not the same with the 1 thru the viewfinder (LCD screen) when I pressed the capture.

2. Beep sound before every message alert of voice call alert. do not know about alarm, whether also will have the same beep sound.

3. Saved all sent files thru wireless will be saved in inbox or message's folder (phone memory) only. "i'm wondering wat will be the usage of RS-MMC other than storing capture photo or video"

4. Must use Dual voltage RS-MMC or normal RS-MMC will do? If normal RS-MMC will do, no any problems at all?

5. Silent mode (in profile) won't vibrate whenever receive any message.. hmmm...i think the Nokians would not encourage us to get any message notification during our "silent" mode..izzit? can't they jus create a shortcut button to go silent or vibrate mode when pressed and held?

Well, i think so far that's all i could find out after my 4th days using it.

Hope to get any help sooner or later.

ok all those are on the forum use the search function as im too tired to write it out when its already answered, no it doesnt hafve to be dv, and the silent and the beep before a msg or ringttone should be fixed in the next firmware update

your welcome, sorry i wasnt trying to be an ass, i was tired but wanted to help so i did that so you would know that the questions have already been answered

The quick way to fix the no vibrate in silent mode is to create a silent ring tone.

There's plenty of ways to create a ring tone, so just make one that is silent, even save it as silent.rng, then set the Ringing Type to Ringing, volume to min, and of course set vibrate to on.
I made my silent ring tone for my 6600, but it works just fine on my 3230.

Since you can use other file formats like MP3s as ring tones on the 3230, I guess the job has been made even easier for the average Joe to make a silent sound file in any format the phone supports.
