Contact Management: Deleted fields reappear

Has anyone else had this problem?
After syncing my 9500 with my outlook address book, I've been working my way through all my contacts to iron out any erroneous data, and from time to time deleting fields that aren't necessary, especially Address (Business), but I find that once I finish editing and select Done, when I reopen the contact card again, some of the fields I deleted have reappeared. Anyone have a clue why this is happening and how I can get around it? It's seriously winding me up! I've tried changing the default template, but that hasn't helped...

It's a problem of templates, anyway... it depends on which template are the contacts based at creation time. Doesn't care if u change it after creation. You have to change it before crating a new contact. It's not a problem however. Blanks fields are not visible in the summary view of contacts but just in editor view, and doesn't requires extra space on memory... (in 9210 was the same)

It might not display in the summary but i'd still rather they weren't there. So dya reckon if I changed the template, emptied my contacts and re-sync'd with my outlook I could get the fields the way I wanted?

Well can't assure that but suppose so. It depends if when syncing the programs just send a vcf file to device or create a new contact from default template and then stores info in the new file. You just need to try it. Delete a contact then resync device with Outlook --> 9500 option so it will add again the contact you delete, but using the new template. Then let us know! Good Luck!
