are there any other ways on how to unlocked the memory card?

Other ways than what? Than knowing the password? Than looking inside the mmcstore file? If those two aren't enough, then to my knowledge no, there are no other ways (unless a data recovery service company like IBAS helps; but in that case you'd have to have some very valuable info on the card, because it is probably expensive).
unit has just formatted and I cant locate the mmcstore file..please advise.
Then the card is wasted, unless you pay a data recovery service (the card will be wasted in any case, but they might be able to save the data, but it can be expensive, and with no guarantees of any success).
