Problem Intellisync Client and 9300

What's the problem? Does the Intellisync Client 6.2 support the 9300, 9500 or Series 80 2.0 in the first place? If so & when you try to install it, what happens (any and all error messages)?

The intellisync client is compatible with Symbian 7.0 and I believed tha nokia 9300 has symbian 7.0.

There is Symbian OS 7.0 and there's Symbian OS 7.0s. The 9300 has 7.0s, which is binary compatible with 6.1 and 6.0, but not 7.0, which is only used by UIQ phones (by Sony Ericsson, Motorola primarily + BenQ).

Does the software (or it documentation) specifically say it supports the 9300, 9500 or Series 80 2.0?

Also, are you sure that's the exact error message displayed ("impossible to localized the object especified" doesn't seem like a complete/sensible error message)?

I have the exact same problem with my 9300. It says it has installed the software correctly, but when you try to launch the Intellisync app by clicking on it I get the same error message about not being able to find the object.

During instal I had an error message saying the app might not run, but then got a succesfull instal message!

Any ideas how to fix this? I was really looking forward to that push email...

Does someone know where and how I can get Symbian OS 7.0 Installed on my Nokia 9300 phone since it looks like that will solve the problem.Or a patch that will fix the problem

No, you can't install Symbian OS 7.0 on the 9300. The phone has version 7.0s which can't be changed.
