I'm curious, as I have loaded up a fairly standard Spreadsheet (with a pie chart), no fancy macro stuff, just some basic maths & X-referencing from other cells.
What it displayed was POO!! - NO pie chart! & the formatting was crap. but it did seem to handle the X-referencing & maths. - So what gives??
It was the same with Powerpoint!
It didn't show the slides properly either ( & they were just basic text boxes, & jpg graphic inserts - NOTHING Fancy!!!) & forget about transitions!
- I am NO power-user on either of these apps, but I can get them to do what i need to do when using them for my work.
So just how imporverished are these apps on the 9500 compared to their full blown cousins?
Are they weak to the point of being pointless!???
- Certainly from my experience so far, this seems to be the case.... Especially that i have been doing in Excel & Powerpoint is NOT Rocket-science compared to what CAN be done!
I'm dreading loading up a word doc with formatting! 😉
Has anyone else tried to use these apps. & found them crap to the point of - "whats the point of them being on the phone"?
Or have people found the apps amazing!! & render exactly what was created in excel, powerpoint etc, on the PC? - If so - please share your secrets on how everyone can do the same. 😊
Look forward to some tips!

I tried word and the output on pc is not only good, it's fucking excelent, it even know it's indentation and shit!
I made an extremely simple Excel sheet on my 9500. No formatting, no nothing special.
Only simple math * and/ + functions. That was it.
now.....
Cannot read it on the PC because it had to be repaired etc etc.
Tried to convert it first on the Nokia. And still: document is corrupt and too damaged beyond repair etc etc.
Now I am typing all the data by hand in the PC.
Great!

I just tried converting a excel dokument and tranfer it, not only does it open up right away on my com, it also looks like it should, you guys seriousle need to do something bout that haircut :P
TBH I create the documents on the 9500 then edit them on the PC afterward usually.

Ok, I am too stupid for Excel in the 9500.
I hope windows mobile 5 will be better suited for incapable people like me.

Chaps,
You all seem to be talking about the oposite of what I'm referring to ....
& that is PP presentations, Excel spreadsheets that ALREADY exist on a PC, & then transfer them TO the 9500 to view/edit etc.
What i am seeing is that even though the sheets & ppp's are not elaborate in any way (a pie graph on the sheet, & some imported graphics in the ppp.) The Progs on the 9500 are FAILING to render these simple things!.
Has anybody had any success in displaying sheets & ppps etc that were CREATED on the PC, & then loaded onto the 9500/9300, & the docs remain intact & SHOW the graphs & jpgs etc???

I tried to make make a pps, but havent uploaded it to my pc!
But it looked fine, with diases and all!
