Hi

LOVE IT!

Especially the boot & shutdown sound. :icon14: :icon14: :icon14:

Megisto - I hereby name this "Skin of the month". That is a great bit of work, especially for people like myself who were sick of the Vodafone start-up and shutdown sequences.

😃 - Seriously.

Everyone - BEFORE you apply this skin, MAKE SURE YOU DO A BACKUP OF YOUR PHONE!

If you've got a now.ini file which isn't the default, then this theme (and some others) will have problems starting up. My phone crashes constantly when using this phone, unless I do a re-format of the phone first. (be aware, that restoring a backup with a differnet now.ini will cause you problems again)

This isn't a bug in this theme, it's a problem with now.ini settings, which is being looked into for the next or a future firmware release.

Hello, what software do you use to create these themes?

can you put all the themes you have and run ok on Sendo X in download?
Thanks

Sorry, no software. We are waiting for the original sendo theme studio :icon13: . I use Xvi32, Mbmwizard and PaintShopPro. The first is for the rsc, the second for the mbm and the last for the images/animations. I think you can find useful information about themes searching in the previous posts. 😃

Great theme, amazing animation

Keep up the good work :icon14:

Very goot theme, bravo

the blue is very beautiful
and a big thank for the sound of On/Off of the phone.

I was hating the Sound of French SFR!!!! Grrrr

now I'm quiet..... 😊

I like this theme for it's on/off new animations and sound ., can you tell me the way how to edit the .rsc file for theme? as i kown there are some bmp in the .mbm files . we can change it easy , i know you use Xvi32 to edit the .rsc file, but edit which place can do it exactly. it's no use to change the name of mbm files only. my e-mail address is [email protected] can you tell me your e-mail adress? i want to diy theme for this phone very much would you tell me something you know , thanks a lot!! my english is not good ,just told my mind

I'm not too worried about the new Sendo themes. What I really want is "Silver blu bip" available for the new firmware. It's a fantastic theme 😃 and even gets rid of the annoying beeps at startup and shutdown.

How about it, ermete3smegisto?

Well, I'm working for it but it's not easy. No one of the new themes (from sendosmartphones) uses the start up/down sound, so I can't modify the rsc file!
But don't worry, just trust me...

As all the new themes use the default sound, you'll have to get one of the MBMs from the phone's ROM drive.

The sound files are now in Z:\System\Data\Sounds\ and the startup one is called qua_wav_startup_default.wav

I know. The problem is not the file or where the file is located. In the rsc file is possible to specify all the issues of the theme:
- images
- font style
- start up/down sound
- start up/down animation
- menu icons
- status icons
...etc
But if the rsc file is blank or simply specify only the theme icons (like all the new themes and the default themes in the last firmware) all the others things are loaded as the default (pre loaded) theme. In the old firmware was possible to create a theme with the sound simply editing the "themedefault" (spiro) in the line in witch loads the sound. In the new spiro is loaded only the theme icons file!
The only thing I can do is modify a theme graphically (creating something I did with the linux theme) but I can't include a different sound without the theme editor or a "good" rsc.

Ahh, I presumed the rsc files would still reference the sound file locations...sorry.

I'll see if I can get an rsc with the sound location in it 😉

This goes out to all developers....

Is there any possibility to decompile a rsc file in its orginal source?
This would be helping much more...

Cheers, murphy

In the default theme there are the sound locations for the alarm sounds, which are also very good too modify. but it would be great to get a default.rsc which has all things from current default and the startup and end sounds 😊

I would like to get a small theme editor running 😊 which also customizes the sounds. I'm currently analysing the default theme files and check which graphic is here and there. 😉

Thanks for all help, murphy 😊

OOHHH! 😮 You are right... I don't know why but I see it only now!
Ok, I'll modify it... it seems to be very similar with the old one.
It's time for new themes! 😊 😊

i'm sure the startup and end sounds are not in the default theme or am i blind???

cheers, murphy
