KERN-EXEC Reason number 3 — Nokia 9300 and 9500 — All About Symbian Forum Archive

I have the 9300 for several months without complaints.

Suddenly (nothing has changed on the phone or PC), when syncing my laptop's Outlook calendar, I receive the message

Program Closed
Program:Sync
Reason code: KERN-EXEC
Reason number 3

Does anybody have seen this and was able to solve this error?

My supplier tells me that I have to update the phones firmware...This means that I will not be able to use my phone for at least two weeks 😞

Anybody the same problem?

I only experienced same problems when i installed programs that are not written for 9500 ! ( but 9210 or other)

I get this when I try to send e-mail on my 9500. Except when I re-type the servers into the e-mail account just before sending. This is extremely annoying, but I haven't found out any cure yet.
