edit now! applications?

To all...

Is there a way to edit the Now! ini file? I want to get rid of a few things that I do not use and add something else (eg, remove the anniversary setting for ecample). Thanks.

You can turn off the pane plugins without hacking the ini files. Go to Options > Pane Settings > Plugins and select what you do and don't want to be shown on Now!

Hi,

I can remove certain things on the pane but there are a few i can't disable, like the email plugin, tasks plugin, etc.. thats why i want the whole Now screen disabled but it looks like thats not gonna be possible.

Greetzzz

Mine is missing that option too.
I can change the order the pluggins appear but cant change the content of the Now pane. :frown:

OK, try making a new pane, then seeing if you can edit them... there are some things which Now! won't let you disable on it's "My Pane" pane.

In depends on the phone variant you have. You may also need to upgrade your firmware to a more recent version (I can't keep track of all the different ones)! But yes it is possible (i've done what Stu has to mine)

Mondred, yes, I think on the Voda handsets, "My Pane" is indeed called "Now!" - you can always tell the default pane as it's the only one you can't delete.

how many variants are out there?

As far as I *know*, only the Voda handsets are different. Certainly my French and my UK handsets are identical
