Hi,

Yes it's me again lol 😊

I was wondering if anyone knows if there is and which firmware version i can use to update my sendo?

When I press *#0000# I get the following on the display:

X1.109.5.2
Release IG
26-Nov-2004

I bought my sendo here in Belgium (a small spot on the map 😉 )

Hi Rafe,

I looked on the site of Sendo but I couldn't find any firmware upgrade under the SPN number.
I tried the Expansys ones but it didn't work on my Sendo.
So I tried asking them it on there online support forum but it seems when entering you're question and submit it didn't go in their database because my questions list stays empty :frown:
I think my current firmware version is quite old because it says 26-Nov-2004.

So does anyone have contacts there to ask the question?
My SPN number is 8Y0H-37170-3X000 and i bought the phone in my home country Belgium.

Any help would be Appriciated.

An 8Y0H-37170 SPN phone should allow you to use the "Portugese" firmware to update your phone. However, I think you're wrong on the firmware version you have - it can't really be 1.09.5.2, surely you mean 1.98.5.2, in which case you have the latest already!

Stuclark, I checked the firmware version again with dialing *#0000# and it clearly says

X1.109.5.2
Release IG
26-Nov-2004

And when I go in the "about" screen it says the same.
Is it a strange firmware version?

Hi,

That is a REAL version, do not worry!

It has one MINOR revision from 1.98.5.2, for that network.

New firmware has recently been tested, and some re-work is being done for some things found, and once that is done and approved, a new version should then be out.

As always, this depends on operator approval and testing, which can take more time, depending on the operator.

Are vodafone still being a pain, or did Sendo manage to take over the quality control?

Hi plinkykev,

Thx for the information, i was getting worried I had a phone from outer space or something lol 😊
And thats good news the new firmware is on its way, finally making our own themes.

Do you know for which network my firmware version is so I know which one i have 2 download when the new firmware is on the Sendo site?

Normally my phone should be able to use all operators here in Belgium I think, I only tried Proximus in my country.
