6670 Quickword problem

You must use the nokia file manager to open the word document.
Tools->File mgr. Find your word document file & click open.
The default quickword can only open word files in this manner. :icon13:

Using QuickOffice Premier will be better which can edit word files also. Sad thing is that it is not free by nokia.

Thanks alot it worked....will i have to do the same with .ppt and .xls files also
if i buy the quickoffice premier will i still have to go to filemanager to open fles or will they be disalyed in the quickword applcation when i open it

There will be a browse option to select your files to open. 😉

Am not as lucky as shyboy. Tried it as you've stated it. Doesn't work. The file "priyadubaifcv.doc" is lying in a folder named "Other" on my MMC. I clicked on "Open" after selecting the file. File Manager reported an error "File Manager: Unknown file format" with a huge red '!' beside it !! Help please !!

QuickWord, if opened independently, reports the same screen as shyboy has already mentioned i.e. "No data" !!
