i need help plz!!

i bought nokia 9300 last week but i have a problem reading word files.
i tried to send few word files via bluetooth but the device could not read it!!!
do i need to download any kind of software to solve this problem?

I can read them fine... it does "convert" though before it opens again on the 9300...
Hoipefully someone else has more knowledge about this.
