Can someone confirm that the Nokia PC Suite does not support SMS messages archiving from a Symbian 60 phone (6680) to a PC?
If so, what are my options? I understand the Nokia Lifeblog would do it but the software isn't free. Are there any free software out there that will do the job?
TIA,
Kenneth

Nokia PC Suite does not support SMS archiving, sending, and so on... I personaly dont know about any alternative option,so i always use my RS-MMC to save my messages and iam waiting for the release of new PC Suite, which will support this option
😃
You could try looking at the third party software SMS Machine from Symbianware (www.symbianware.com).
The "Lifeblog" software is a really cool tool that arranges the sms and images in a timeline. It is free up to 200 messages i think.

hm,200 SMS ?? i have more than 900 in my phone 😃 so i need an another alternative 🙄
The last version I've tested of Sms machine archived the sms in a text messages.
AFAIK the only attempt to mantain the original structure could be copying the /Mail folder to Pc (and in meanwhile backing up the whole MMC could not be a bad idea 😉 ).
