These games, backgrounds etc - is the best way to transfer them to my phone through an infra-red device from my PC? I've downloaded a coule of backgrounds but obviously this cost my GPRS time. Is it simply use infra-red from PC to phone and play?

Great site btw!

You could also purchase a Bluetooth-dongle for the USB-port to exchange data between phone and PC. More convenient and you can find them for supposedly 50 (I don't know how that compares to the costs for an infrared-device, though).

down here cheapest USB-infrared about 40E , cheapest USB-bluetooth about 70E, but it's well worth the money, IRDA sucks like hell, it's hard to connect and it often doesn't work...
I have installed my Bluetooth in a matter of 30mins and it works faster then IRDA and I can walk around with my phone when sending data... it rocks😊

so infra-red and bluetooth are much better than downloading then?

Both IR and Bluetooth are faster than GPRS (Bluetooth being the fastest of the three) and since GPRS-datatransfer is usually not really cheap they are considerable long-time alternatives if you install a lot or sync your phone regularly.

so say I downloaded a game to my PC I could just transfer it to my phone via infra-red and play it?
