just like it states, today i tried playing a video but it gave me something that said does not support format or something like that i wasnt paying to much attention.

"Windows Media Player" is an app for Windows to play Windows Media Audio (WMA) or Windows Media Video (WMV) format files.
Microsoft has not created a Symbian OS version of their player, and nobody else has yet any other players supporting WMA or WMV either.
So, you need to convert the video to a format supported by the phone by default, or by another player (such as SmartMovie, or whatever).
What to recommend for the video file you tried is impossible, as you didn't say what kind of a file it was, exactly.
