My 7610 keeps on crashing when I write SMS messages , perhaps 1 out of 20 SMS messages. I always happens with predictive text, I press the * key and kaboom, I am out of messaging and I have to retype everything. Any ideas as of how to fix this?

7610 SMS entry keeps on crashing
Install FExplorer (http://www.gosymbian.com/), delete C:\System\Data\PTIT9UDB0f.DAT, restart the phone (probably not needed) and let us know if it helped.

What's ur firmware version? I got this problem on 6670 also.

This problems comes only when u turn on the dictionary when writing sms.
Hope nokia solve this problem on the latest firmware
