Call Waiting bug???

I checked the help on call waiting and it says that "receiving a new call when u are on call, u receive a note and a sound". I find out that the sound is pretty soft. I missed several calls as a result.

I am on FW 4.44. Anyone have the same problem?

I'm on fw 4.51 and not noticed this. Although the message only appears for as long as the caller is on hold - it then changes to the missed call note.

It may be that the warning tone is governed under the profiles settings - look at warning tones and see if adjusting this makes a difference.

Be glad I had on old Motorola which had a bug... the vibracall would still be active on call wating alerts - it would nearly knock your teeth out.

Bidget,
There is no warning tone in profile settings. There is a notification tab and under it, there is a notification tone option. Are u referring to this? If u are, I have tried this and no difference.
