Concept phones are not real phones but just mock-ups made of plastic or wood (or sometimes only illustrations).
Phones based on such concepts may never be actually made, or they may be very different from whatever was the concept it was based on, if any.

You're absolutely right, concept phones are the equivalent of the outrageous impractical clothes you see at fashion shows which will never be sold in any shops. The designers make them to show off new materials and ideas, not because they think people should actually wear those actual clothes.
As the name suggests, the idea of a concept phone is to showcase particular concepts, not finished products. Elements from concept models might appear in the real thing, but you'll never see an entire concept model go into production because it was never designed with that in mind.
This is definitely not N-gage 2, whatever that actually means.
The next generation of Nokia games will be on many next gen symbian smartphone models, whether they name one of them N-gage is unclear. But they are effectively all N-gage 2.
