Memorycard problem on regular N-Gage, please help!

Hi guys,

I'm having the weirdest problem ever with my phone. When I try to access it for listening to music, I get the message "memorycard damaged". So I tried to format it on my N-Gage, right? At 99%, just when it's supposed to be done, I get a "memorycard damaged" error!

I can still access the card through my card reader and use it perfectly with my digital camera, but it doesn't work via the USB cord. I can format it in the card reader to FAT, but then it still won't work on my phone.
I am using a 256 MB MMC and I've never had any problems with it.

If someone can please be so kind to help out, I'd really appreciate it! I have also used the search function, but have not found a thread with a solution for my problem.

Sounds like the card is going bad. Probably not much one can do, except to make a backup and get a new card.

Ah ok, thanks. It's weird though, because it still functions properly on my PC and with my digital camera. I guess I'll just have to buy another one (thinking about an 512 MB RS-MMC), thanks for your reply 😊.
