magnificus wrote:I follow all the steps and it seems it has been done right, but when I try to navigate with netfront, I get this message:

Error: Invalid DNS value specified http://www.as.es

I have entered the DNS my adsl connection have on the step this page tells me, but I cannot avoid this message.

Any help?

When you connected to NetFront, does an icon signaling a new network connection show up in the system tray or at the network connection control panel? If this doesn't show up, you may need to check your windows settings again.

Make sure that there is no firewall enabled when you do the testing.
Have you try with ICS enabled or some sort of routing or a router?
If ICS works, use ICS since is a much easier method.

If not,
Take a look at this example here for proxy routing.

Dude, you are like the best thing that happened to me this week. Thanks a lot. It works just great.

hi,
Just to share. I manage to get my 7610 works via bluetooth connection to my PC (broadband connection) and surve net. Great!, my pc is using USB bluetooth with the range of 100 meter. No problem for hp net surving n pull pop3 email. Cool i like it. Perhaps don't mind the small screen of 7610. Everthing is perfect. 😊 :icon14:

I HAVE LOADED NETFRONT ON MY 7610.THE ERROR NOW IS "INVALID DNS VALUE SPECIFIED HTTP://WWW.GOOGLE.COM/"

i wonder wat that is can any one tell me frm where can i find my dns.and how tu set it up on the phone and the pc.

You'll get the DNS (Domain Name Service) server from your [network] operator. It should be automatic, so make sure you have the GPRS Internet Access Point settings (*NOT* the WAP Access Point) from your operator & that you have configured NetFront to use it (the Internet Access Point).
